Welcome to the So(u)l Recovery Movement.
Rediscover. Reclaim. Recover.
May love grow in and around me.
The So(u)l Recovery movement’s primary goal is to make healing accessible & to help people reconnect to, and share, unconditional love.
So(u)l Recovery believes:
- Everyone is worthy of love. All of them, every part. Shame keeps us from love, but love is always there waiting.
- No one is disposable. You are worthy of love no matter how you come, but you have to earn trust; abuse won’t be tolerated. Love can be compassionate boundaries. Everyone deserves a chance at amends/redemption if it is sincerely desired & effort is made.
- Healing is generational and communal work connected to nature.
- Since we live in a violent world, everyone is struggling with something. Recovery is for everyone.
- Healing happens one day at a time, perfectionism is unrealistic & inhumane.
- Relapse into old patterns is a part of recovery and can become a sacred teacher or a place we get stuck and torture ourselves.
- All effort is built upon, all effort is worth it, no matter how small. Every time we relapse, “fail”, and choose to try again, we have the opportunity to learn wisdom/skills.
- There are practices that are fundamental to recovery and help relieve suffering, like honesty and genuine connection.
- Sharing our lessons helps us maintain recovery & inspires the recovery of others. Everyone, no matter where they are at in their recovery, has something to offer & learn. Our strength & vulnerability are equally valuable and sacred.
- The more folks find recovery, the greater our chance of healing our home. In these conditions, even the sickest amongst us will become brave enough to try recovery. Unfortunately, some of us won’t experience peace through recovery in this lifetime, but life does not end with death; healing can happen even for those that have passed through those that are living.
I am accepting clients at this time virtually or via at-home/in nature sessions. I also welcome peer or collaborative relationships.
